[TN-Bird] hummer/flower question

A friend offered me some plants when she divides this fall.  I have an area 
near the porch I use for butterfly/hummer plants & put other flowers elsewhere.

Do the  hybrid cannas (large flowered) attract hummers?  My old-fashioned 
small-flowered ones certainly do, but I have no experience with the lovely 
showy large flowered ones.

What about the purple/blue bee balm?  My red bee balm is quite the hit with the 
hummer crowd but, again, I know nothing about the other colors.  I noticed this 
season how they have ignored the nearby butterfly bush while the bee balm was 
blooming, but I know they'll be visiting it once the bee balm is gone.
