[TN-Bird] first of year birds

Great Smoky Mountains National Park
Blount County, TN
3/31/05

Hi folks,

Today I observed my first of season Yellow-throated Warbler,
Black-throated Green Warbler, and Black-and-white Warbler. The first
2 had been reported by others earlier in the week.

Other birds that have only been "back" a short while, which I
observed today included Louisiana Waterthrush, and Blue-headed Vireo.
Add to that Pine Warbler, which has been back for a while, and I had
my first 5-warbler day of 2005 (unless you count a day in south
Texas...)

This puts my Blount County list at 116 for 2005.

Charlie
