At Eagle Bend Fish Hatchery in in Clinton, Anderson County, TN yesterday
afternoon (3:05 - 3:50 pm) the most interesting bird found was an adult
ring-billed gull sporting a large yellow tag on each upper wing (scapular?).
THey didn't appear to hinder its flight.
On the ponds (mostly the upper one) were 46 ring-necked ducks and 36
Buffleheads. Only other waterfowl 2 Mallards and 94 grazing Canada Geese.
Total of 14 ring bills.
