We saw the same thing happen at the Fort Pillow State Park.
The Red Tailed Hawk was coarsing effortlessly about twelve
feet off the ground. Two Mockers were giving him the works.
Midair dive bombings and noisy straffing runs. The Hawk
landed on a tree branch, but the hectoring continued.
The Mockingbirds knew how deadly a Red Tailed Hawks talons
could be, so they stayed just out of reach.
