This morning I saw one of the Scissor-tailed Flycatchers hanging around
Florence Road near the intersection with I-24 and Tn 840. One bird was seen on
the wires south of the Unity Free Will Baptist Church just past 840. It then
flew north to the wires directly over 840.
Fate Sanders Marina on Percy Priest Reservoir is always good for migrating
swallows, especialy in inclement weather during migration. This morning there
were about 6 Bank Swallows on the wires there along with the resident Barn
Swallows and a single Tree Swallow.
Cheers
