Hello again,
In the past month, I've seen three unidentified hummers fly PAST my feeders
full of fresh nectar without stopping or slowing up long enough for me to
identify the "ladies or immys" that they seemed to be. I also have a male
sapsucker who seems to have more or less taken up residence leaving his "mark"
on just
about every tree in the yard. With all that natural nectar dripping from the
tree trunks, the hummer(s) may just simply be ignoring my "synthetic" stuff.
It does seem to be "evaporating" rather quickly for the season, but I haven't
seen a hummer feeding there when I've been in the kitchen.
