I went out today to observe and photograph visitors to my feeders and to my
surprise saw my first Yellow-bellied Sapsucker at my new house. It was a
female and was drilling holes in the trunk of a weeping willow by my front
porch.
Also present were several Juncos. I got some good pictures of the birds,
especially the Sapsucker.
