[TN-Bird] Yellow-Bellied Sapsucker

While attempting to get into the Christmas spirit by haphazardly hanging off
the side of a ladder putting my well being at risk all for a few strands of
icicle lights, I discovered our winter visitor back again this year. We have
had a Yellow-bellied Sapsucker visiting our yard for the past several years.
They have been particularly fond of the maple trees in the front yard as is
evident by the rows of well holes. Today's Sapsucker was busily chasing a
Red-Bellied Woodpecker away from these maples. Guess he isn't in the spirit of
sharing his trees. Hope he enjoys the lights.
Happy Holidays!
