Tn-birders:
A quick additional note to Nancy's. The Yellow-billed Loon was seen well
by about 20 people today. It was still in the same general area it has
been frequenting just before dark today. Also seen today were at least 5
Red-throated Loons and 1 or possibly 2 Pacific Loons among the 200+
Commons in the area. No luck with any unusual gulls, including the
California. Jeff did have the California late yesterday afternoon just
south of Pace Point on a little bar on the TN River side.
Good birding!!

> I took a quick trip to Big Sandy today and to the Tennessee National
Refuge, Big Sandy Unit to see the Yellow Billed Loon. It had been seen
all morning by the group up there led by Jeff Wilson. I saw it witht
he help of Jan Shaw. Keeping up with it was a job as it kept diving. It
was to the right of the island off Pace Point and would swim on around
the bend to the right. Great look. Hard to miss that big yellow bill.
