[TN-Bird] Year End Birding

DEC 31, 2007
Shelby Co. TN
Tunica Co. MS

I spent a lazy day looking up some of this winters visitors. I met up with a
couple of birders killing some time before flying back home today. We found
the two Black Scoters but struck out on the White-winged Scoter.

In Tunica Co, MS, I located only 2 of the immature Rough-leggs and in the
huge numbers of Ring-billed Gulls, I found only 3 immature Herring and the
immature Lesser Black-backed Gull, that was present last week, no Great BB. I
photographed two Ring-billed Gulls that sported yellow tags on their wings,
these are birds that were being tagged in Chicago. I also photographed two
that
had been dyed, one yellow and one red.

I've added couple of final photos to my 2007 album, try:

Ring out the, old Ring in the new, have a great birding year full of
Laughter and Lifers.....
Good Birding !!!
