[tn-bird] Woodcock Walk-Sat., Mar.9-Oak Ridge

March 9's, "Woodcock Walk," a late afternoon/evening bird walk to
observe and hear the American woodcock, highlights next month's
activities at the American Museum of Science and Energy in Oak Ridge.
The walk will be on the Department of Energy's Oak Ridge Reservation and
will led by Jim Evans, Tennessee Wildlife Resources officer.  To make a
bird walk reservation, and/or get directions, call AMSE at 576-3218 by
noon Friday, March 8.  Registered participants will meet at the former
Gatehouse on the O.R. turnpike at the west end of town at 5 p.m. to
caravan to the site.  Limited to 25 participants. Bring a flashlight,
dress in layered clothing and wear bug spray if it's warm.
