My husband and i were VERY surprised Sunday morning to watch a male Cardinal
feeding (on the ground) a Mockingbird fledgling! We haven't seen it since, but
we're still puzzled. Do Mockingbirds lay eggs parasitically? (Or is
'parasitically' not a real word??)
Anyway, i'd love to hear any comments about this behavior. As you can probably
tell from my 2 posts to TN-birds being about Mockingbirds, i have a lot to
learn about them.

Thanks!
