This morning was another no go for the Whooping Crane Migration Team. The
cause was very high gusty winds. Sunday morning looks as promising as any day
so far. I was told to be on hand at the gazebo at 7:15 AM or I might miss out!
This morning before I arrived about 20 people were on hand and were lucky
enough to observe one of the past years Whooper, as it flew directly over their
heads, possibly continuing it's southward migration.
