[TN-Bird] Whistler Update - Ensley Bottoms

On Friday, TVA Lake held 7 Black-bellied Whistling Ducks; they were not  
present there on Saturday but 3 pair were found in Horn Lake Slough, McKellar  
Lake and at the "Pits".  I played peek-a-boo with one of the pair at the  
"Pits" Saturday and Sunday and got close up to a friendly pair off of 
Riverport  Road. All evidence points to a bunch of nesting Whistling Ducks in 
Shelby Co.

Also there is a pair (male and female) of Gadwall in Horn Lake  Cutoff?? 
both looked healthy and could fly. The rain gave the cripple American  Coot at 
the "Pits"more water in its hang out, sure hope for more tonight.
