Ensley Bottoms
Frayser Area
Shelby Co. TN
Had my FOS Bobolink, Dickcissel and Lincoln's Sparrow at Ensley, along with
3 Mississippi Kites. The young Bald Eagles now look large enough to leave the
nest.
I searched for Upland Sandpiper and Western Kingbirds at Ensley with no
luck, but found a singing Western Kingbird at the Harvester site in Frayser
along
with a silent bird feeding in a nearby field, both appear to be full blooded
Western Kingbirds, the hybrids usually show up later. A third bird was found
off Levee Road.

What is this feathered thing that lifts my heart to the heavens.
