[TN-Bird] West TN: Lark Sparrow, Black Tern

Some quickie notes on a few of birds I encountered in west TN in the
last two days:
Lark Sparrow: One flushed up from the side of Highway 88 just east
of Maury City in Crockett County yesterday (7/29/09). Not a great
look, but the tail shape and pattern were very well displayed when it
flushed. I suspect there are many still-undiscovered locations for
this species in the Coastal Plain.
Black Tern: three at the Ed Davis Fish Farm north of Milan in Gibson
County today (7/30/09), nice gorgeous alternate-plumage adults. No
shorebirds or unusual waders at this spot today.
