I checked the pond at Camp Jordan in Hamilton County on January 8 and was surprised by the numbers of ducks. Nineteen Redheads (a high number for January), 18 Ring-necks and a pair of American Wigeon were mixed in with the Canada Geese, Mallards (of questionable lineage), and the usual assortment of muscovy types and white domesticated ducks.
