[TN-Bird] Warbling Vireo at I-40 rest area Mile 267 (Caney Fork River)

Having been told by Steve Stedman about Warbling Vireo having been found at
the I-40 rest area at Mile 267 by the Caney Fork River in eastern Smith
County, I finally took the opportunity to bird this promising looking,
though noisy, spot. I include the entire ebird list in case others have
wondered what's there.
Location: I-40 rest area Mile 267 (Caney Fork River)
Observation date: 4/25/09
Notes: Half hour of birding along river, 6:30 to 7:00 AM. Clear, calm,
65 degrees. Primarily looking for Warbling Vireo.
Number of species: 29
Wood Duck 2
Great Blue Heron 2
Belted Kingfisher 1 Flying from large fresh pile of dirt at
maintenance area
Red-bellied Woodpecker 1
Pileated Woodpecker 2
Warbling Vireo 1 Seen and heard singing in tall trees at maintenance
area along river.
Red-eyed Vireo 3
Blue Jay 7
Northern Rough-winged Swallow 6 Flying around large fresh pile of
dirt at maintenance area
Carolina Chickadee 1
Tufted Titmouse 2
Carolina Wren 2
Blue-gray Gnatcatcher 2
Eastern Bluebird 1
American Robin 10
European Starling 1
Cedar Waxwing 8
Northern Parula 1
Yellow Warbler 1 Male seen at tree top (not singing)
Yellow-rumped Warbler 2
Prothonotary Warbler 1 Seen and heard singing across the river
Common Yellowthroat 2
Chipping Sparrow 2
Field Sparrow 2
Northern Cardinal 1
Rose-breasted Grosbeak 1
Common Grackle 10
Orchard Oriole 3
House Sparrow 1 Caught large insect on grill of parked truck
