[TN-Bird] Walker Springs Park Barred Owl

got to Walker Springs Park in west Knox County around 2:30 this afternoon
(Saturday), had been there about 5 minutes and was about to head down the
chip trail from the playground area when I heard a BARRED OWL. It called
several times from the wooded area to my left (toward the creek). I walked
a short distance into the woods toward the sound and heard a very agitated
AMERICAN CROW. There were two CROWS harassing the BARRED OWL in the top of
a tree to the left (must have been close to the parking lot). For about 5
minutes I watched a spectacular show. The owl would make a pass at one of
the crows, then settle down again, the crows would countinue harassing the
owl, the owl would hop up and make another pass, flaring its wings, then
move to another branch and they'd start all over. After about 5 minutes they
disappeared. I walked back to the parking lot but they were gone.

Other interesting birds in the park:

BLUE-GRAY GNATCATCHERS
MAGNOLIA WARBLER
YELLOW WARBLER
RED-EYED VIREO
