[TN-Bird] Vermilion Flycatcher / Tree Swallows - Hatchie NWR

On the way home this afternoon, I stopped at Oneal Lake off of I-40 to 
stretch my legs. I pulled into the parking lot to scan the lake and before I 
got out 
of the car, I heard a bird singing. I thought it sounded flycatcher like and 
I knew it sounded strange. The bird flew in still singing and there was an 
immature male Vermilion in much the same plumage as the Reelfoot Bird. It will 
be 
interesting to compare the two photos. I took photos of it perched on the 
signs in the parking lot and it seemed to have a good sized territory staked 
out.

While photographing that bird, 2 Tree Swallows floated into view, my first 
for the year.

A nice finish to a really great weekend, both weather and bird wise.;o)
