[TN-Bird] Turkey Trot

We have a flock of betwen 10 and 20 regular Turkey visitors. As I can se no
spurs on them, I take them to be females. There is a small beard on each bird,
and some are doing a minor version of a male display, so I hope I do not need
more Turkey SexEd. The odd thing is, they have been taking to running in
circles, literally. Sometimes several will form a ring and simply run in
circles for several minutes. Today three lined up around a tree and proceeded
to circle it rapidly for minutes, one with its tail slightly expanded and
tilted towards the tree. Thery are also quite agressive with crows. They will
stand beneath a tree with a crow perched in it, and stretch their necks and
fluff up. Eventually, one caught a crow on the ground and ran at it, neck
extended. One might guess a ground nesting bird (I assume) would be aware of
the predatory habits of crows. These dinosaurs are really interesting. Ralph
