[tn-bird] Tree Swallow, Pine Warbler, etc. (Greene Co., TN)

At Kinser Park (on Nolichuckey River southeast of Greeneville) this
morning, observed by Alice Loftin and Don Miller:

Tree Swallow (singing male);
Pine Warbler (singing male).

I have observed Tree Swallows in Greene County in the last week of
February for three years in a row. Pine Warblers may overwinter here; I
have several records from December, January, and February but not enough
to reach a firm conclusion.

Near Hurricane Gap (Cherokee National Forest in southern Greene County)
this afternoon, observed by Don Miller:

Hermit Thrush;
Polygonia butterfly (couldn't tell whether Question Mark or Eastern
Comma).

(If an observer can't tell whether a Polygonia is a Comma or a Question
Mark, doesn't that automatically make it a question mark? Sorry, I
couldn't resist.)

Don Miller,
Greeneville, TN
