Laurie and I went out to 7 Islands this morning in east Knox county to scout
for next weeks field trip. While there we found a Townsend's Solitaire on the
north side of the pond on top of the hill. The bird perched in the open long
enough for scope views on two occasions.
I took several photos, but the bird is badly back lighted. I plan to try to
relocate the bird in the morning. If anyone is interested in going please
contact me directly.
