[TN-Bird] Top of the World

I was scouting for the Cades Cove CBC this morning and on the lake at Top  of 
the World development off the Foothills Parkway in Blount County were 42  
Ring-necked ducks, 7 Pied billed grebes, 14 Bufflehead, 2 Hooded mergansers and 
 
a Common loon (my first there) on the lake.  Lot of regular birds such as  
nuthatches, kinglets, C. chickadee, titmouse, Pileated, downy and Red-bellied  
wodpeckers, robins and 2 Hermit thrushes.  However no Purple finches, Pine  
siskins or crossbills!
