[TN-Bird] Thousand bird raid on hackberries

Hello Birders,

This morning, there is a mixture of species raiding my and my neighbors'
hackberries here in the Charlotte Park area of West Nashville, Davidson County.

Included are cedar waxwings, starlings, red-winged blackbirds, a couple of blue
jays, and I THINK I heard some rusty blackbirds in the massive din of sounds
from at least a thousand birds. The mockingbirds are on the deck for their
peanut butter. Other feeder birds include cardinals, mourning doves, house
sparrows and rock doves. No juncos, other sparrows, chickdees, titmice or
Eurasian collared doves........YET. Too early for them, maybe? The cardinals,
as
usual, were feeding before daylight. It is still cloudy and darkish here with
a
spitting of rain now and then..
