The National Audubon Christmas Bird Count website has a feature that allows compilers to post the date of their count; this feature has been active for about a month. So far dates for 9 of the state's approximately 30 CBCs have been posted and are now available for viewing at the "Get Involved" page of that website. The TOS website has not yet posted any dates for CBCs this year, so the NAS site seems to be the only place where this information is online. As NAS Editor of CBCs for TN, I have received a few email messages lately asking for dates of counts, but I am unable to provide this information unless it is posted somewhere. I have directed those seeking information on dates of CBCs to the compilers of various counts, but it would be better to direct them to an online source of information, sooooooooo Compilers, please start your engines, er, post your CBC dates. Thanks, Steve Stedman To post your CBC date, go the the main CBC website http://www.audubon.org/bird/cbc/ then click on Data Entry/Review; then enter your username and password; then click on CBC at the next page; then click on the name of the CBC for which you are compiler; then click on Post the Count Date; then enter your date. If you do not recall your password, there is a feature that allows you to get this item of information. =================NOTES TO SUBSCRIBER===================== The TN-Bird Net requires you to SIGN YOUR MESSAGE with first and last name, CITY (TOWN) and state abbreviation.
