2006 ANNUAL FALL MEETING AND SYMPOSIUM TO BE IN CLARKSVILLE
October 27-29
The 2006 TOS fall meeting and symposium will be held in Clarksville from Fr=
iday, October 27 through Sunday, October 29. The meeting is co-sponsored by=
the Warioto Chapter of the National Audubon Society, the Knoxville Chapter=
of TOS, and at large members of TOS.=20
A block of 20 rooms at the Country Inn & Suites, 3075 Wilma Rudolph Blvd., =
has been reserved for TOS. Call 931-906-0606, for reservations. Be sure to =
ask for the TOS meeting rates, which are $60.00 per night ($68.50 with tax)=
. These rooms will be held for TOS members until September 27th. This hotel=
is very close to the U.S. 79 exit (Exit 4) of I-24. For more information a=

Field trips=20
Trips will be held Saturday and Sunday morning. The destinations are not ye=
t finalized but are likely to include, Cross Creeks National Wildlife Refug=
e, Morgan's Pond, and Land Between the Lakes.=20
The registration fee is $5.00. Attendees may pay upon arrival, but pre-paym=
ent is encouraged. Send checks to KTOS, care of Marie Oakes, 18 Rockingham =

Please bring your own name tag. Prizes (shade grown coffee) will be given o=
ut to the three =E2=80=98most interesting' birding related event nametags.=
