As a former president of TOS and member since 1981, I would like to
applaud Danny Gaddy's
comments about how TOS functions. Without the continued hard work of
members who volunteer many hours to our organization, the website,
Migrant, Warbler , Tn-Bird and other contributions to ornithology
would not exist. Perhaps, all those who contribute data to TN-Bird
who are not members of TOS should consider joining, and if that is
not possible for whatever reason, they should consider a financial
contribution to help the organization continue and improve on its
mission.
