[TN-Bird] TN birds-KY Sabine's Gull

TN birders,

Left the Sabine's gull yesterday about 12:45pm Eastern. Because of my
initial misinterpretation of Kevin Breault's excellent instructions, I walked
to
the fartherest point of land beyond the last barricade, and scoped the channel
that had a few sandbars. Ended up with 52 species. When I came back to the
dam area, the bird was putting on quite a show with close views. However,
when I started my walk, Honker Bay was empty. Two interesting sidelights:
when I was on the point, a group of several carolina chickadees came by
working
the shore area. One was a partial albino with a brown cap and brown bib,
otherwise, all white. Head appearance was like a flashback from my
gray-headed
checkadee backpack trip several years ago. The other was perched on the
osprey platform by the Cumberland River bridge in the form of an adult
peregrine
falcon. Besides, I needed the walk to the point for exercise.

Thank you Kevin for the great instructions, and to others for posting
current sightings.
