The scoter I reported seeing at Radnor Lake yesterday has been identified
from some of my photos as a Surf Scoter by Mike Todd and Chris Sloan.
Evidently nobody's seen it today, and I had to go to work.

From Mike Todd: From a quick look here at work, I support your Surf ID
100%, placement of pale on face, and head/bill shape are perfect for Surf to
me. I'm sure, the way Surf and White-winged flip their wings as they dive
you would have seen some white if it had been a White-winged.

I did see it dive twice, and there was no white on the wings. But I'm
still hoping for a Black Scoter close to Nashville! Thank you, Mike and
Chris.
