[TN-Bird] Strange wood ducks

A couple of weeks ago I was walking through Shelby Park (Nashville Tennessee)
and spotted a young male wood duck. Neat, I thought, except the young duck was
hanging out with the huge flock of mallards, domestic geese, canada geese,
etc... Thinking it was just a fluke I shrugged it off. Two days ago while
walking the park a new wood duck has arrived. This one an adult drake. Not
only was he with the other water fowl but when the passerbys came to feed the
locals bread and such, the little drake hopped from the water and preceded to
go after the crumbs! At one point he was to the point of begging. Is it just
a strange occurence or is this something that will become a normal sight?
