Nashville-Davidson County, TN
23 July, 2009
I went for a hike with a non-birding friend today at Beaman Park, so the
emphasis was not on finding birds. I was surprised to hear a Louisiana
Waterthrush still singing along the Henry Creek not far from the parking
area and trailhead. I figured these birds would not only have stopped
singing, but would be getting ready to head south by late July. There was no
sign of Worm-eating Warblers, however.
