[TN-Bird] Standifer Gap Marsh, Brainerd Levee, and Hiwassee Refuge

Saturday, February 16th, Hamilton and Meigs County
 

We visited a friend in Chattanooga and bird watched at several sites on the
way back to Oak Ridge.  The Whooping Cranes and Sandhill Cranes were seen on
the mudflats and shoreline on the Tennessee River and Hiwassee River
junction looking up river from the Cherokee Removal Memorial overlook.

 

Standifer Gap Marsh (9:45-11:00 AM):
