[TN-Bird] Re: Spring has sprung in mountains !

I'm still wondering what the Blue-gray Gnatcatcher that arrived here a couple
of days ago is thinking! Then, the bird was foraging, flitting about in
budding willow branches. Today those branches are bent almost to the ground
beneath a heavy weight of wet snow.

I have 8 inches of snow at my place in Hampton, TN. Looks like the
accumulation has ceased for now, but power has gone in and out.

And the snow did bring some new visitors: my first Chipping Sparrow of the
spring visited the ground beneath the feeders and a small flock of American
Goldfinch (about 6-7 birds) have visited all day.

Hampton, TN
