Sightings Report 9 April 2007, Upland Sandpiper Update, Ensley Bottoms, Memphis, Shelby County This morning I spent about an hour (1035-1130am) traipsing around and about the grass fields of the Earth complex. Found the field that the Uplands were reported in the past two days, however, they have moved on. I met several other birders at the fields and none of the others had seen any either at that time. I returned for a quick look at 245pm and still no upland's. Maybe tomorrow. No chance at the pits though. E. Meadow Larks -17 RW Blackbirds 50+ E.
