Observation date: 12/29/07,410-425pm
Notes: Quick stop at Ensley to see what's in late afternoon.
Number of species: 5
Canada Goose 18
Wood Duck 7
Gadwall 19
Mallard 20
Ring-necked Duck 19
Location: TN 2 Mem,TVA PONDS
Observation date: 12/29/07,425-445pm
Notes: Not alot of waterfowl on the big lake today. Noticed birds
leaving to and coming from Mckeller Lake. Big lake was all Scaup mostly
Lesser with a handfull of Greater Scaup spread thin. Did not put alot of
time to counting today. Noticible misses: Mallards, Canvassbacks and
Redheads. Did not see the Blk Scoter female today.

Observation date: 12/26/07, 1145am-1220pm
Notes: Lunch time run to the bottoms. Water once again in the ponds and
sloughs on Riverport Rd.

Location: TN 2 Mem,TVA PONDS
Observation date: 12/26/07, 1225-1240pm
Notes: Quick glance at the lower number of ducks on the lake at lunch
hour. most of the ducks must be down on Mckeller Lake today. Smallest raft
seen in a long time. Alot of gulls though on the back sandbar. Blk Scoter
seen again in the same general location as past couple of weeks. Sleeping
like all the Scaup. Very few other birds than Scaup, Not alot other birds
today, Canvassback numbers down and no Redheads seen. Greater Scaup seen in
the mix but didn't count today. There numbers down also, not many stood out
like they usually do.
