[TN-Bird] Sightings Report, 26 Nov 07, TVA Ponds Ensley Bottoms, Memphis, Shelby County

Location:     TN 2 Mem,TVA PONDS
Observation date:     11/26/07,1210-1245pm

Notes:     Quick lunch time look at the TVA ponds. Unable to count Scaup and
Ring necks as they were in great numbers coming and going as with the
Gadwall into and out of McKellar Lake next door. Gadwall at least landed
separate from the main raft of birds so as to count. 7 Scaup in the main
raft drew attention as they stood out from the others. Greater Scaup Size
difference and head shape next to the other birds gave them away along with
being a lot brighter white on thier sides. Cold and breezy.
