Location:     TN 1 Cvll, Frank Rd Landfill Greenbelt Park

Observation date:     12/24/06,115-345pm

Notes:     Cool Overcast day Started late birds not in thier usual places.
Most of the sparrows were down in the brush piles along the ditch to the
south end ofthe Park. 5 minutes into the area spooked the whole herd of deer
about 16 of them, biggest an 8 pt.

Notes:     After departing the Landfill area took a drive to st Georges HS
on Wolf River Blvd. Interesting birds around. HS grounds areon the border of
the bottoms so there is a varied habitat. Wax wings were spotted in Wolf
River Ranch in the Trees nearest the subdivision.

Observation date:     12/25/06 6 hrs 9-am-3pm

Notes:     Since it was Christmas and it was raining all day. I finally got
to watch the birds out the kitchen window for more than an hour. The
resident Coopers Hawk visited several times during the day and I could see
him in the distant grove at other times Back field is partially flooded 15%
and the Robins have taken over. Feeder birds everywhere stocking up on xmas
dinner. Merry Christmas.
