Sightings Report 21 Oct 2006 Collierville area, Shelby County, TN
 

Location:     Swamp & Forest Walk From Bkyrd

Observation date:     10/21/06,1145am-215pm

Notes:      Took the longggggg walk today through the swamp (It's still
dried up) Alittle water behind the Macon Ridge subdiv. but passible.
Vultures and Redtails riding the thermals. SharpShinned busted out of hedges
before my eyes (5 feet) with a sparrow in its clutches. Another good rain
and this trip will need knee boots. 4-wheelers beginning to knock down the
weeds on the overgrown trails but providing mud pits. LBJ's taking over the
bushes, weeds, and willows along and in the wetland project.
