Shelby Park/Bottoms
Nashville, Davidson Co
Birding the Hills in Shelby Park and
Phase 1 and 2 of the Bottoms this
morning turned up 71 species, including
17 species of Warblers.
Highlights were:
Red-eyed Vireo - 7
Wood Thrush - 1
Swainson's Thrush - 4
Blue-winged Warbler - 4
Golden-winged Warbler - 1 male, Mission Hill
Tennessee Warbler - 7
Nashville Warbler - 6
Chestnut-sided Warbler - 1
Magnolia Warbler - 1
Yellow-rumped Warbler - 18
Black-throated Green Warbler - 2
Praire Warbler - 2
Palm Warbler - 2
Blackpoll Warbler - 1
Cerulean Warbler - 1 singing Mission Hill
Black-and-white Warbler - 1
Louisiana Waterthrush - 1
Kentucky Warbler - 1
Common Yellowthroat - 8
Yellow-breasted Chat - 4
Scarlet Tanager - 1
Rose-breasted Grosbeak - 2
Blue Grosbeak - 1
Indigo Bunting - 2
Orchard Oriole - 2
Baltimore Oriole - 1 male Mission Hill
