Shelby Park
Nashville, Davidson Co
Birding Mission Hill and other areas in
Shelby Park this morning resulted in 56
species recorded. This was one of the
best days for Warblers at Shelby this Fall,
with 15 species seen. Catbirds had
seemingly tripled in number since the
NTOS Fall trip yesterday, with 73 counted!

Marsh Wren - 1, 3rd Mission Hill record
Ruby-crowned Kinglet - 1
Swainson's Thrush - 3
Wood Thrush - 1
Gray Catbird - 73
Blue-winged Warbler - 2
Golden-winged Warbler - 1
Tennessee Warbler - 2
Orange-crowned Warbler - 1
Nashville Warbler - 2
Chestnut-sided Warbler - 2
Magnolia Warbler - 11
Black-throated Green Warbler - 2
Yellow-throated Warbler - 3
Bay-breasted Warbler - 1
Black-and-white Warbler - 4
American Redstart - 17
Ovenbird - 1
Common Yellowthroat - 5
Wilson's Warbler - 1
Summer Tanager - 2
Scarlet Tanager - 1
Rose-breasted Grosbeak - 14+
