Visited Seven Islands W.R.(Knox Co.) before work Fri from 12:30-1:30 pm. I only
had time to walk down the road to the Stable area and back. Saw a few spring
arrivals including:
Common Yellowthroat - 4 seen, many heard
Indigo Bunting - 2
Blue-Gray Gnatcatcher - 1
Chimney Swift - tons
Barn Swallow - 6+
I also saw an Amer. Kestrel by the stable chasing birds and returning to a hole
in the powerline pole as well as 2 B.H. Cowbirds in some kind of mating ritual.
Shane Williams - Knoxville
