[TN-Bird] Second feedere watch

Our next two days of on and off feeder watching also turned out well. Our
best find was perhaps the large flock of cedar waxwings that spent much of the
day rushing on and off the water feature. The pileated woodpecker also used
the water and so qualified where it was previously just a "fly over" species.
Our list, not in the proper order, was chickadees, flicker, redbellied, downy,
hairy and pileated woodpeckers, tufted titmouse, red and white breasted
nuthatch, mourning dove, cedar waxwing, American crow, phoebe, redwinged
blackbird,
bluebird, robin, blue jay, chipping, field, fox, song and white throated
sparrows, junco, carolina wren, cardinal, purple and house finch, goldfinch and
yellow-rumped warblers. Twenty nine species. We also saw our first leucistic
bluebird. The breast was white, there was a broad white band across the head,
the
back was speckled white and gray, and half or more of the tail was white.
The bird sat very close to the window on the deck bird bath for a while. Ralph
and Kay Brinkhurst, Lebanon, Wilson County
