[TN-Bird] Scott County, TN birds today

Nothing earth shattering, but a nice cool half day in the field, my first
in months.

Scott County, Tn  near Oneida up to KY line.
Places visited were Huntsville Water Treatment Plant -
Airport and adjacent cattle farm fields/  ponds
Elizabeth Lake, Oneida City Park and another park North of Oneida.

Hoped for shorebirds, but habitat in several areas not wet enough, or
people mowing grass.  Only one for the day, a Spotted Sandpiper near the
airport. 
Looked diligently for any Uplands or Buff-Breasted Sandpiper in excellent
habitat ( hundreds of acres of grassland)  but no luck. 

Best birds were around the airport, fields etc. Of interest:
 8  HORNED  LARK - airport 
  18 BOBOLINKS- my first in the county.  - Airport area 
  1 Female Blue-Winged Teal at Oneida City park.
    Over 35 Chipping Sparrows, mostly immatures 

44 Double-Crested Comorants were at the reservoir near Huntsville.
