[TN-Bird] Saturday's NTOS field trip to Chattanooga

Seven TOS members took part on a cold and windy day for the NTOS field
trip to various spots in Chattanooga. A total of 75 species were seen
throughout the day.
Highlights:
Craven's House - no early migrant activity here - but lots of
woodpeckers. Multiple Northern Flickers, Yellow-bellied Sapsuckers,
Red-bellied and Downy Woodpeckers, as well as a Hairy and a Pileated
Woodpecker.
Brainerd Levee - 20+ Wilson's Snipe, 1 Pectoral Sandpiper, Blue-winged
and Green-winged Teal, Northern Shovelers, 25 American Pipits, many
Northern Rough-winged, Barn and Tree Swallows, and 1 Palm Warbler.
Chickamauga Dam/Lake - Brown-headed Nuthatches, Pine Warblers, Osprey, 4
Wood Ducks, Chipping Sparrow, Brown Thrasher
Standifer Gap Marsh - 4 Sora, 3 Virginia Rail, Red-Shouldered Hawk,
Cedar Waxwings.
