[TN-Bird] Saturday NTOS Field Trip - Harpeth River State Park

The Nashville Chapter of TOS will hold a field trip
this Saturday to the various units of the Harpeth
River State Park in Davidson/Cheatham Counties.

We will meet at 7:00 am at the Bellevue Park-n-Ride
(directions below).  Please bring your lunch for this
field trip - we should be done by 2pm.

We will visit a number of the areas of this new park -
including the familiar Narrows section, the new
Gossett Tract, the new Hidden Lake unit and the Newsom
Mill Unit.  Moderate walking will be required, as we
will ascend the ridge at the Narrows, and walk the
paths in the Gossett Tract and Hidden Lake unit.

The Bellevue Park-n-Ride is just off I-40, exit 196. 
Drive east on US 70S from I-40, turn right at first
light (Coley-Davis Road).  Enterance to Park-n-Ride is
on right.
