After a tip from a friend telling me where the Sandhills had been feeding
during the day, I left early yesterday and found several thousand in a field
and the Game warden came by and said they estimate there are over 5000 in the
area.....probably has something to do with the drought in E. tn and lack of
food....we usually have a good population in this area every winter but this is
quite an increase.....
