[TN-Bird] Sabine's Gull at Memphis; 9/13/09

Mud Island (Loosahatchie Bar)

Jeff found an adult Sabine's Gull at about 9:30 this morning. The bird was 
sitting on the rock dike off the Loosahatchie Bar, viewed from the upper 
parking lot at Mud Island. Jeff watched it for a while, and then the bird flew 
north and out of sight in the rain. Good chance the bird is still in the area 
though, as there are plenty of jetty's to sit on around this area. Jeff has 
also had Forster's and Caspian Terns on the move this morning.
