Hi TN-Birders,
This afternoon at about 12:30 P.M., I was driving past a watery yard on Brook
Hollow about a block north of Jocelyn Hollow in Nashville when about 30 rusty
blackbirds flew in and started feeding on the ground. I stopped for a minute
and listened to this very vocal flock whose voices made them easy to identify
right away. I did check, and they were all rusties with no "intruders" in
the flock. They were all gone when I went past there again a little after 2
P.M. It is always nice to see rusty blackbirds.
