[TN-Bird] Rufous Hummingbird Day 93

Willie could have been the inspiration for the movie, "The Field of
Dreams" as he adheres to the principle -  "you put out the feeder and I
will come".  This morning I hung the sugar water feeder at 5:50 and
Willie zoomed in for his scrutiny sip at 5:52 and then came back five
more times in the next ten minutes.  Most of these visits were quick
ones also as it was still too dark for him to feel safe enough to sit
and drink deeply.  

It was wonderful to see him again after being gone since last Sunday
night on my trip to Minnesota.  I left Duluth yesterday morning at 1:15
a.m. and arrived in Smithville at 6:45 p.m. and part of the reason I
drove straight through was to see Willie this morning.  I saw some
beautiful birds in Minnesota and will post a separate report on the trip
later today, but nothing exceeded the captivating color of Willie that
has been getting us up early for over three months.
